Refund policy
Delitero is software, not a food seller. Every order is a sale by the business you ordered from, on their own Stripe account, and refunds work the same way.
support@delitero.com1. For customers ordering from a business
Your order is a purchase from the business you ordered from, not from Delitero. That business sets its prices, prepares your order, fulfills or delivers it, and issues any refund.
For a problem with an order, contact the business first. Its phone number is on the ordering page and on your order status page.
Refunds are issued by the business from their own Stripe account, for the full order amount or a partial amount, and Stripe returns the money to your original payment method.
2. For businesses using Delitero
Refunds are between you and your customer. You issue them from your Delitero admin, for the full order amount or a partial amount, and Stripe processes them on your account back to the customer's original payment method.
Delitero does not decide, issue, or fund refunds. Chargebacks and payment disputes on your Stripe account are likewise yours to handle under Stripe's rules.
Delitero's 5% fee is not returned when you refund an order, since the order was sold and the service was rendered. Stripe's own processing fee on the original charge is not returned either.
This page summarizes the refund provisions already stated in the terms of service and the payments guide. Questions about a refund? support@delitero.com. Delitero, Inc., a Delaware corporation. Registered agent: Legalinc Corporate Services Inc., 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713.
