For food trucks
Online ordering for food trucks
A food truck does not need a storefront website to take orders online. Delitero gives you a hosted ordering page at your own address on the web: post the link where your customers already find you, and take paid pickup orders for the service window you are actually working. 5% per order, only when you sell. No subscription, no setup fee, no contract. Nothing else.
Why the model fits a truck
A truck's volume is spiky by design: markets, events, seasons, weather. A monthly subscription costs the same in a rained-out week as in festival week. Delitero charges nothing when you sell nothing. Park the truck for the winter and the bill is zero, and nothing needs cancelling.
Built for a business without a fixed address
- The hosted ordering page is your storefront. No website needed. If you do have a site, the same ordering embeds into it with one script tag.
- You already announce where you will be, on social, at events. The ordering link rides along. Delitero does not publish or track your location; the page is yours to point wherever you park.
- Customers order ahead with scheduled pickup: they pick a 15-minute window inside your posted hours, up to 7 days out, so lunch orders can land before you open the hatch.
Built for service windows, not all-day hours
- Set hours per day of the week. Outside them, the page honestly says closed and shows when you open next. Nobody can order into a void.
- Slammed or out of stock? Pause ordering in one tap: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour, or until you resume. It resumes automatically and the page tells customers when.
- Sold out of one item, not everything? 86 it in one click and it drops off the menu instantly. One click brings it back.
Orders land where you can see them
Orders arrive on the kitchen display app on a device in the truck. If an order goes unaccepted, Delitero repushes after 60 seconds, texts you after 2 minutes, and calls your phone after 4. A paid order cannot sit silent during a rush. Customers watch their order progress on a status page instead of crowding the window to ask.
The money
Payments go straight into your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect. Delitero never holds your money. Card processing is Stripe's standard rate (2.9% + $0.30, varies by card), paid to Stripe, not us. A truck doing $3,000 a month online pays Delitero $150 that month; a truck doing zero pays zero.
What Delitero does not do
Honesty first: there are no customer accounts and no loyalty program, so regulars enter their details each time. There is no SMS or email marketing to announce your next stop; you keep doing that where you already do. Delivery exists only with your own drivers, which most trucks will not use. US only, pickup and card payments through Stripe.
